WHAT IS A THAI MASSAGE?

Thai massage, also known as Thai yoga massage, is a traditional healing practice that dates back several centuries and is based on Indian Aryuvedic principles. It combines these principles, along with acupressure (application of pressure on specific points on the body) and assisted yoga poses, to realign the energy lines of the body. During a typical massage, the therapist will assist the recipient to slowly stretch into yoga-like poses, while also applying deep static and rhythmic compressions to certain pressure points along the body.
